It has started to snow in Provo. We have gone from September to January with no real snow fall, but it has started up. Of course Logan and I think it's nothing since we spent out last winter in Rexburg Idaho, but the snow is slowly moving along.Winter has always been my least favorite season, actually I don't really like any of them with the exception of Summer. Summer is my season. My mom has always said that I worship the sun and get depressed when it is not around. She is right I love the sun. I love laying on the beach soaking up all the sunlight I possibly can. I know it is only January, but summer time doesn't seem that far away. I am very excited for the year of 2012 I think it holds a lot of opportunities for growth and progress. Here is to 2012 and the snow!

Total shout out to my Stacey Girl! Tonight Logan needed the car to pick up a friend from the SLC airport and I was stuck at work for a presentation till 10pm. I didn't have a ride home so Stacey drove to my office and picked me up! Then she bought me a chocolate milk shake. I am so luck to have a great friend. Thanks Stace!!!

For the past two weeks I have been conducting a volunteer training. Volunteering is a huge part of the agency that I work for. Volunteers who are interested in helping rape victims come and we spend 40 hours together. The training came to an end today and I am sad. I have spent a lot of time training everyone and I know that they are all going to be excellent volunteers. My babies are all grown up!

After the afternoon with the bounce house Christmas eve got a little crazy. Every year we have a gingerbread house competition. Logan and I have won two years in a row and were competing for our third. The competition was fierce this year and so was the smack talk. But like always Logan and I came out on top. Three year reigning champions! After the comp the boys got a little wild and had wrestle mania. Mckay was my favorite because he is very sly, instead of tackling Logan he just lifted up his shirt and started pinching him, sneaky but effective. After dinner Santa came and gave all the kids early presents.
Oh you will probably notice that every family has matching christmas themed shirts on. Kimala made this tradition and now we all get pretty into it. Logan and I just keep busting the mock turtle neck. How can you go wrong with that? Love re-living Christmas...

For Christmas we went home to SLO and had a blast. On Christmas Eve my dad rented a bounce house for all of the grand babies. They had a great time and so did we. There is nothing like a bounce house to bring you back to the old days. Dan is the best Papa ever he goes above and beyond! While we were in SLO is was 70-80 degrees. So we spent a lot of time in the front yard laying in the sun and soaking up all the rays. So take a look at our Bounce House adventure! More SLO pics to come...

Happy New Year!
This past year has been so crazy. Here is a run down of what happened in the Thomas household:
January - We made our new years resolutions and started the crazy Idaho winter
Feburary - Kimala, Tani, and Milla came to Idaho!
March - My birthday month!
April - We went home to California for spring break and basked in the sun.
May - The sun started shining in Rexburg so we were outside all the time.
Jun - We won the inter mural soccer championship and Logan scored a goal!
July - I graduated with a Bachelors and Logan graduated with an associates degree from BYU-Idaho and we moved to Provo, Utah!
August - We went to Costa Rica for a much needed tropical vacation
September - We came back to SLO to visit our families, Logan started school at BYU-Provo, and I started my first job out of college.
October - We had our first Halloween in Provo and spent it with friends.
November - My family came up for Thanksgiving
December - We took crazy mall pictures and used them as our Christmas card and then went to SLO for some relaxation time!
We are looking forward to an awesome 2012
