President Rex E. Lee was a law clerk for former U.S. Supreme Court Justice Byron White, the States Solicitor General, and the 10th president of Brigham Young University from 1989-1995. On March 11, 1996, he died at the age of 61 after battling with lymphoma. Each year, the BYU Cancer Research Center holds the Rex Lee Run in President Lee's honor with all donations going towards cancer research.
There will be a 5k for $15
and a 10k for $20
($5 additional for registering the day of the race)

You can register either at the booth in the BYU Wilkinson Student Center from
March 12-16 from 10am-3pm
or you can register online at

For more information you can go to the Rex Lee Run Website

My husband Logan and my brother Bradly are both apart of the Cancer Awareness Group at BYU and are working very hard to get this event planned and executed so help if you can!

We have officially finalized our summer plans. Logan has accepted an internship in Debre Zeit Ethiopia for a Non-Profit agency Engage Now Africa. We will be leaving in June and will live in Ethiopia until the end of August. We will be assisting the agency in construction of fresh water wells, sanitation education, teacher training, and lifting those in need. We are also excited to work with the growing branch in the area and plan on hosting many 5k races (Ethiopians love running). The people of Ethiopia are special to Logan and I and we cant wait to be an instrument in Gods hands and help those in need. We will be documenting our preparations and our journey through our blog so stay tuned. If you are interested in donating or getting involved feel free to contact us. Happy Thursday!

Happy Valentines Day everyone! I hope you all have a wonderful day and don't forget to share some of the love with yourself. Nourishing self worth can be way more important then chocolate or flowers. Have a lovely day:)

Today has been difficult, but my friend Mina surprised me with these cutie little treats. The note she wrote said, "Taylor, I know we discussed how sweets make us feel like crap, but at least they're pretty to look at!" Thanks Mina for being so sweet to me.

This my friends happened last weekend. If you cannot tell that its Hot Fudge and lots of it. Logan really wanted a shake from a place called IceBerg in Orem so we took and drive and got him their specialty which is extra thick shakes. I on the other hand believe that you should be able to sip a chocolate shake through a straw so I opted for ice cream covered in fudge. It was as delicious as it looks I assure you. This week has been a bit difficult so tonight Logan is taking me to Olive Garden and then to see a movie. I received a text from him today saying "Olive Garden!" and that's it. He does a really good job of getting me through the work day. I don't know what I would do with out the weekends. It really is a time to get rejuvenated. What are your plans this weekend?
