Last night Logan and I went up to Sandy to see Makall, Marcus, and Hailey. I met Makall my first semester up at BYU-Idaho, as fate would have it we were roommates and became best friends. Makall is living in Mesa Arizona right now so I don't get to see her very often. Last night was amazing! We went to dinner, made a cookie monster, and answered trivia questions. Makall is on of my favorite people in the world. Whenever I am around her I feel a sense of peace that I am with someone I love. She is the kindest person I know and a phenomenal mom. Of course I forgot my camera and didn't get any pics. This picture was taken the first week we met each other when we were 18! So young and foolish:) I love you Makally and miss you already.

Untitled #3

Whenever moving and packing come into play I always find myself day dreaming about what our next place will look like. These are a few items that I have been drooling over. I wish these little beauties would inhabit my next home. Right now Logan and I are in a stage in our lives where moving an annual thing. We never get too attached to a place because we know that we will be leaving it soon enough. However I do believe in making your house a home. The place that you live has to be comfortable and inviting. Since Log and I are poor college students and we probably will be forever I think this is best accomplished by having items in your house that mean something to you. For example in our house we have an inspiration wall. It is a collection of funny pictures, letters, and art work. I know that I could live anywhere as long as the inspiration wall was there with me. So there hopefully this little rant has inspired some to make a home out of your living space. Happy Thursday!

It's Friday sucka! This is me waiting for Logan to finish homework so he can come and play with me. As you can see it was getting a little out of control. After 9 hours in the office on Friday I am ready to have some fun. Our friends Carly and Jeremy are coming from Idaho and we get to see them. We have plans to go to the Nickel arcade and then get some yummy dessert. I am excited (as you can see). I think Log is almost done so weekend here I come!

S&B Wedding Weekend

Yesterday Stacey and Brock got married! It was an all day event starting with a delicious breakfast at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. Then we headed off to the Bountiful Temple for a beautiful sealing and then back to the Joseph Smith Memorial Building for a reception in the Empire room. The wedding was beautiful and Mr. and Mrs. Wright are officially the cutest couple ever. Enjoy the pictures!

There is a restaurant in my hometown of SLO (Giuseppe's) that I am obsessed with. The reason I love going there is because they have an amazing Extra Virgin Olive Oil Herb Dip. I swear I don't even need to order anything. I could fill up solely on the fresh baked bread and herb dip. This dip brings back memories of sitting on the patio on a Sunny Saturday afternoon with Kimala... so good. I have always wanted to make my own and today I stumbled upon this genius recipe. I am so excited to spice up pasta night with this appetizer. However, if I do I don't know how much pasta I will end up eating. This is a risk I am willing to take.

Since it has been warm that last couple of days all I can think about it summer time. I was scrolling through pictures of last summers Costa Rica trip wishing that we could be back there with the warm ocean, crazy iguanas, and never ending beaches. I am such a sucker for the ocean. I told Logan that when we settle down we have to be next to the beach, preferably on the west coast. I think that he would like that as well.
This week has been a little crazy and this weekend is going to be insane. Logan is helping to put on the Rex Lee Run fundraiser this Saturday and my friend Stacey is getting married! It is going to be an all day event and I am so excited for her and Brock, they couldn't be more perfect for each other. It seems like we are always busy, but it makes the time that we get to spend together so much sweeter. Last night Logan did homework till 10:00pm and then we just sat on the couch together and talked. I love those moments when I look at Logan and I feel an overwhelming sense of peace. Life might get crazy sometimes, but I wouldn't trade anything for those precious moments with my husband. Happy Thursday!

Ok, sorry for the insane picture overload, but it is what it is. This past weekend Logan and I drove up to Rexburg for my birthday weekend. On Friday we walked around campus and I missed my school so much. We went to dinner and played with Mckay all weekend. Sean and I have a tradition of giving super random birthday presents to each other. This year he got me zebra print kitchen knives. They are awesome! Sean also made me his famous french toast, I swear it is so tasty. While in Rexburg I also got  to see Alex!!! It was amazing to catch up with her:) I was sad that the weekend had to end.
Today Logan took me to breakfast, Mina decorated my office, Stacey took me to lunch, Logan and I enjoyed a romantic dinner, and Log made me a delicious cake for dessert. Thank you to all of you who have made my birthday amazing!
