This past week has been amazing. Kimala came on Monday night to Utah and stayed until this morning. Then Sean, Rach, and Mckay came on Tuesday and we all stayed in Highland with our Aunt Donna. On Tuesday Kimala and I went shopping at H&M and ate at Cheesecake Factory. I love nothing more the spending a day shopping with my Madre.
For the rest of the week we prepared for THANKSGIVING. Thursday was the perfect day. We got up had waffles and cooked all morning. Well I watched mostly, but I made the green bean casserole and it was pretty tasty I think. After dinner we laid on the floor and rested up. Then the games began we played so many board games it was ridiculous. When we could stay up any longer we crashed downstairs. Logan and I stayed in my Aunt's basements and feel asleep right next to the fire. I love the Holidays so much because it means I get to spend time with my family and that is one of my favorite things. Thanksgiving was super successful and I can't wait till Christmas. We picked out our Christmas tree today! More pictures soon!

Kimala (my mom) is coming today! Her plane gets in at 7:22pm in Salt Lake City. I am so excited to see her I could bust. After today I have the rest of the week off from work and I am so happy. Sean, Rach, and Mckay are also coming down on Tuesday night. I am obsessed with my family. They are my best friends and we have the greatest time together. This week there will be lots of eating, shopping, laughing, and playing. I hope everyone has an awesome Thanksgiving!

Logan's birthday weekend was a success. Here are a series of pictures showing what went down. On Saturday I spent all day decorating, crafting, and baking for a little party we were having. We had some friends over, ate cake and ice cream, and played games. We had lots of fun and ended the night with watching the newest Harry Potter movie since Kimala bought it for us (Thanks Kimala!) On Sunday we went to church and then went to Logan's sister Nicole's house for a birthday dinner. Nicole was nice enough to let us have it at their place since our house has a grand total of two chairs:) She made dinner and made up a great game. We are Star Wars lovers so she made an obstacle course and the boys did "Jedi Training". It was really fun and always awesome to spend some time with family.
I am sad Logan's birthday weekend is over because I love celebrating birthdays (especially Logan's), but it's ok because Thanksgiving is next week and Kimala is coming on Monday!!! I am so excited I can hardly stand it.
But we have to get through this week first and it is super busy. I have four presentations to do at UVU on Domestic Violence and tomorrow I leave for Ogden to go to an all day business conference for work. It will be fun and super informative. The conference is covering Crime Victim Repriation which is an awesome program that gives financial assistance to victims of sexual assault. I love working in my field because it makes you realize how many programs are out there that are really trying to make a difference when it comes to Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault. So intense week here I come!

23 Years in the Making
Today is Logan's 23rd Birthday! I am so excited I can hardly stand it. We started off the day with a Grand Slam at Denny's, Log knows exactly what he likes. Unfortunately he has a HUGE Chemistry test tomorrow so he will be studying for the majority of his birthday:(  But we are having a marathon of Birthday parties for him this weekend, my idea of course! Logan is the sweetest person I have ever know. He has an energy that makes me excited about life. I can't believe this kid is mine. I think I am pretty lucky. Happy Birthday Log!

Last Friday night we went to a Brazilian grill called Tucanos. We don't eat a lot of meat at home so we figured why not go out and get our fill. Because Logan's birthday is coming up THIS FRIDAY he has been signing up for free birthday deals. Tuncanos offers a free meal on your birthday and since their meals are $20 we thought it was an excellent deal. We went with Stacey and Brock who are our cutie couple friends. We had a great time and ate all the meat that they had to offer. That night they had 15 different kinds of meat. We snapped some picks and ate until we were stuffed. Our waiter didn't stand a chance, I love his "oh no not a picture face". Dinner was super tasty and I can't wait for Logan's marathon of birthday parties this weekend. I'm so glad my Logie was born!!! Keep you all posted!

My favorite Christmas song is "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" by Frank Sinatra. You know those songs that when you listen to them you feel as if you can finally breathe? This is my song. Christmas is my Holiday and this is my song. It feels nice to be able to breathe again.

Hello November. Logan and I woke up this morning to pouring rain. That made it so much harder to get to the gym by 7:00am. October has come and gone along with Halloween and November is here. November is going to be a busy month with Logan's BIRTHDAY, which is on the 11th. I think I am more excited then he is. Also Kimala is coming for the week of Thanksgiving. She is such a good momma. She is coming to Utah so that we can still have our mom's Thanksgiving food and because my dad is going to be at a Dallas Cowboys game on Thanksgiving day. I am super excited to spend some time with her and eat myself silly. I think it is going to start getting colder now, which I am not super mad about, but then again I'm not particularly happy either. But I do have a confession this morning at the gym I was listening to Christmas music on my Ipod. Christmas is the one thing that makes the winter season better. I know I am ahead of the game, but I am a nut so it's cool. Tonight Logan and I will be crashing an institute potluck. We love free food! Well enjoy November!
I am Grateful for:
Hot cocoa
Chemistry magic shows
Warm Ugg Boots
Strawberries
Big warm quilts
Logan's help on cleaning day
Laying in my bed with no where to go
When Log tucks me in when I feel sickly
My mini fridge at work
Colored leaves
A sister that talks to me when I am sad
My home that Log and I have created
Dollar Movies
Hot fudge...and more Hot fudge
Sonic
Books the let me escape reality for a whole lunch hour
Logan's passion for life

What are your grateful for?
Love, Tay
