The other night I got together with these girls and had a blast. These are my dearest friends from high school and some of the greatest ladies around. Right now we are all scattered across the country and rarely get time to hang out, so this was a real treat. We sat around and chatted for four hours about everything that we could think of. I love all of you girls and hope to always stay in touch!

Last night Logan and I went with Sam and Ashley to see the temple lights. It was my very first time and it was amazing. We stopped by Maveriks and got some super rich Hot Chocolate and then strolled around till our fingers felt like they were going to fall off.
We leave for California tomorrow morning and I cannot wait!!! I have one more day of work and about a billion things to do of course. But it is only one more day and since Logan is out of school he is cooking and cleaning all of the time. This morning he woke me up with coffee cake and a morning movie on the couch (which is my favorite). I keep wishing that he won't go back to school so I can keep him all to myself:) We can't wait to be with our families again. One more day!!!

It's Christmas time and you know what that means...Crazy looking Christmas pictures! Logan and I love taking our Christmas card pictures, because it allows us to have absolutely no shame. My lovely friend Stacey was nice enough to take a million pics for us.
Our California Christmas vacation is getting closer and I cannot wait, but his weekend I am going to Denver for Aly Archer's wedding. Does anyone know of fun things to do in Denver? Let me know because I am going for an awesome girls weekend and we need activities.
I hope everyone is having a great week. Merry Christmas!!!

Lately all I have been wanting is a huge blanket sweater. The other day I saw this old woman wearing one and she looked so fabulous, so I went on the search. I found this one at forever 21 and have already decided never to take it off. It is the perfect sweater for chilly weather.
Tonight Logan and I are going to see the Nutcracker with Logan's siblings. I am super excited to go because when your watching the Nutcracker you can't forget the fact that it is Christmas. See ya all later!

Today Logan has been home from his mission for two years. I thought I would post some of the beautiful pictures that he took when he was in Uganda and Ethiopia. I am so grateful for Logans decision four years ago to serve a full time mission for our church. Becuase of that decision our family has been blessed. Logan has a passion for serving others and his mission has shaped him as a person. I am grateful for my husband, for the choices that he has made in his life, and the lives he has changed throught selfless service.

Hello December! You are finally here and I am so happy to see you. November was a great month, but December is my true favorite. After our little Thanksgiving break Log and I have re-entered our busy lives. He is taking on his last couple weeks of school along with finals week and I am trying to get everything squared away at work so that we can leave for California for the break. We have made plans to go and see the Nutcracker in Salt Lake and to go and see the temple lights. I don't know what it is about Christmas lights that make me go weak at the knees. I have an in-service meeting tonight at work and I made little Christmas handouts for everyone, they all think I am a nut, but it's cool:)
These last couple of months at work have been difficult, but I love my job. I get to be there for women when they feel like everything in the world has been taken from them. I get to hold their hand when they feel like the pain couldn't get any worse. I get to walk with them and observe as they experience every emotion possible. My job is challenging, but who are we if we are not helping someone. What is life if we can't serve others. We were each given special talents, and those talents weren't meant to benefit us, they were meant to aid us in benefiting others. I know that Holidays bring out the giving side of us, but I just hope that our giving can continue into the next year because people always need help and most of all love.
For this December I am grateful for my Logan. Marriage isn't always easy and you have to learn how to give and not just take. I have learned so many things after being married for a year and a half. Today Logan said to me, "I wish i could see the world through your eyes". We are so different in the way that we see and interpret the world, but we are always striving to understand one another. Understanding is a powerful tool in a relationship. To understand the way that someone else sees things can take a lifetime, but what matters is that we have the desire to do so. Logan has the desire to do whatever it takes to understand me and because of that desire I know that we can make this marriage thing work for eternity. Thank you Logan for staying strong when things are difficult and for striving to see the world through my eyes. You are the person I was put on this earth to meet. Hope you all have a lovely December and don't ever stop giving.
