Dinosaurs shall roam again... Taylor's Try

Logan and I bought a kite when we were back in High School. We used to fly it before his mission and when we were in Park City we got a chance to fly it again. The dinosaur kite is magic. Logan and I both took turns trying to fly it. You decide who did it better...

4th of July Magic

This 4th of July Logan's family come up to Utah for a family reunion in Logan Utah. It was so much fun. We spent a night in Logan at the cabin and then went down to Park City to stay with Logan's sister Nicole. The 4th was full of sunshine, swimming, fireworks, flip flops, card games, and best of all hot dogs.

Having fun on the car ride to Park City.
Logan Cabin. Logan's grandpa built it. It is so pretty.
This my friends is called a bed swing. Simple concept, but so much fun to lay on and look up at the sky with the sun shinning down on you.
Logan obviously loves it.
View from the bed swing.
Logan workin hard at the BBQ!
HOT DOGS! So unfortunately I am allergic the nitrates in normal hot dogs, but Nicole being magic had these turkey hot dogs with NO NITRATES!!!! I almost cried with joy.
Us Thomas' are famous
I swear sparklers just make people happy.
Nathan and Alex with their sparklers.
Laying on the grass watching the fireworks.

We went Mountain biking Saturday morning in Park City. It was the scariest/funnest thing I have ever done.
The trail.
We are hard core. We wore gloves.
In provo we couldn't find a pool to swim in so we found a park with a sprinkler system instead. It was surprisingly refreshing.

I think it is safe to say that this 4th of July was a success. I love spending time with Logan and his family. We seem to find fun where ever we are and I am so grateful for that. Happy 4th of July. Cant wait for next year:)

A Proud Fiance

On Friday Logan had the opportunity to serve as a speaker for the San Luis Obispo Youth Conference. For the Saturday workshop day he spoke 3 times in a row to 3 different groups of kids. His topic was Living a good life. He started out by talking about his experiences in High School and how certain decisions that he made at that time blessed him greatly. He talked about going to BYU, going on a mission, and now having the opportunity to get married in the temple.
I talked to my mom later that day about how Logan did. She said everyone of his sessions was packed full of kids and they all were so intrigued and touched by his insights. She also said that the next day during the Testimony meeting about 95% of the kids that went up talked about Logan's talk and how much it impacted them.
Logan is so special. He really knows how to connect with people and listen to the Spirit. I am so grateful that I get to marry a man who is willing to serve and share his talents with others. I am so proud of him and am so blessed to have him in my life.

Logan and I got a cutie little apartment in Rexburg for when we come back from our honeymoon. Lately I have been so excited about decorating it. I found this amazing Sunshine Medallion Bedspread from Urban Outfitters and I am obsessed with it. It is a perfect blend of 70s flare and calming colors. I am going to pair it with a mustard colored dresser and some gold accents. I am always telling Logan about how much color we are going to have in the house and how sunny and bright it is going to be. He jokes about us living inside a rainbow. I don't care though. Rexburg can be so dark and dreary that you need some color and sunshine to make you happy. So our house is going to be full of color!

Rainbow madness here I come!
Just Kidding Logan:)

Packing my way out of RExburg

Last night after I got off the phone with Logan I got so antsy that I just started packing up my room. Mind you it was 1am in the morning and I still have about 11 more days of school until Logan comes and we drive home together. But for some reason I couldn't stop. I boxed up all of my books, files (yes, I am an adult), movies, lamps, and even took everything off of the walls. It is all stacked up in the corner of my room so now all that is left is my bedding and my clothes. My roommates thought I was crazy, but I think I'm staying ahead of the game.
So now here I sit in a white room cluttered with boxes and bags and yet I am totally ok with it. 10 more days left of school and then I will get to go home to Sunny California where everything makes sense again. For now I will enjoy my white room, 10 more days of school, and the warming thought of spending everyday for the rest of my life with Logan.
You can't blame a girl for being proactive:)

Exactly 1 Month From Today...

Exactly 1 Month from Today I get to marry the man of my dreams! One Month... I cant wait. I have 16 more days of school left and then Logan is going to come and rescue me from Rexburg and drive me home to California. And we are getting married on August 7th. I am absolutely positive that it is going to be the most beautiful, wonderful, outstanding, amazing day of my life. I cant believe I get to marry Logan. He is the best man I have ever met and he makes me want to be better every single day. One Month:)

A Girl's Best Friends

Once upon a time there were four friends... Makall, Taylor, Brooke, and Alex. We met in college and fell in love. My Freshmen year of college I was lucky enough to met 3 of the most wonderful girls I will ever meet.
First Makall. She is the kind, nice, loving, sweet, driven, and inspiring. Ever since I met Makall I have wanted to become a better person because of her example. She got married almost 2 years ago and is now pregnant with the most beautiful baby in the world. I obviously haven't seen her yet, but I have a feeling she is going to be stunning.
Second Brooke. She is friendly, funny, loving, passionate, and Amazing. Brooke is the kind of person that everyone loves! She makes everyone feel loved and appreciated. Brooke was once described as having a special sparkle in her eye and I love seeing it when she comes to visit me.
Third Alex. She is fun, supportive, spunky, and a great listener. I met Alex at a time when I really needed a friend. She was exactly that for me. We grew very close and have stayed that way ever since. I will always be grateful to Alex for being such a great friend to me when I really needed her.
These are my friends and I love them sooooo much. I know that they have come into my life for a reason. The Lord really knows who you need to meet in your life and I know he put Makall, Brooke, and Alex in my life for a reason. We have been friends for 3 years now and I know that we will stay close for many years to come:)

Hello Baby Noorda!

Brooke completes me...
Just some highlighter Yoga.
We decided to go on a walk in the rain. Brooke didn't have a sweatshirt with a hood so being the resourceful girl that she is she just put a bag over her head. So simple.
We just found an underground tunnel and decided to take some pics.
Just takin a walk.
Thor, you aint got nothin on us.

Having my friends here was wonderful! I am so blessed to be surrounded by amazing girls. I love you MAkall, BRooke, and ALex! Thank you for coming to play with me:)
