SoCIAL RULes

A woman named Jenny Joseph a well-known poet threatened that as an old woman she will:

"wear purple,
With a red hat which doesn;t go, and doesn't suit me.
And I shall spend my pension on brandy and summer gloves
And satin sandals, and say we've no money for butter."

Mrs. Jones didn't care much for Social Rules and I have to say neither do I...

ICe CrEAM

This last Saturday Logan and I decided to have an ice cream party. We have been getting to know people in our ward and in our complex and love ice cream so why not have a party?!?! Logan made home made strawberry ice cream, because he is crafty and wonderful and I made chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwiches. We had our friends Becca and Devin (who are hilarious), Emily and Chris (Cutest Couple), and Kelsey and Jeff (who have the cutest baby ever!!!). We ate ice cream until we thought we were going to be sick and played catch phrase. Thanks for coming guys... We love ICe CrEAM

SCHool, ScHOOL, sCHOOl

School has started and Logan and I have hit the ground running. This is my lame excuse for never blogging, but our lives are crazy! We go to school, work, and finally come home and then we have to do the funnest thing in the world...Homework. It is killing me. Usually by this time in the sememster I have found my rhythm, but I am drowing in reading assignments. When I go to bed I dream about the reading assignments that I didn't get done! Reading, we used to be friends and now you haunt my dreams. Sad. I can't wait for the day when I can lay in the grass and read beautiful books with amazing cover art, just because I feel like it. Unfortunately I have a feeling this won't come until I graduate college... We will see. Until then Logan and I will continue school, work, and homework. Onward!!!

Glimpse of a Honeymoon

Logan and I spent our honeymoon in Kauai. We hiked to secluded beaches, jumped off of water falls, swam in the ocean, laid on the beach, found deserted houses in the jungle, visited the Napali Coast, drank out of coconuts, and toured an amazing Lighthouse.
We had an amazing time in the sun, smiling, kissing, laughing, and living a care free life in Kauai. We are pretty much obsessed with Kauai. We decided it is like Uganda with beaches so of course we love it.

I saw this bumper sticker on a car in Hanali. I loved it.

Dry caves are awesome and super creepy.

We found an abandoned house in the middle of the jungle. Its so cutie I am in love with it.

The Napali Coast is Brilliant.

Logan in my little tree ninja.

Kipu Falls. A beautiful waterfall and a crazy tree to swing off of.

The lighthouse is the Northern most point of Kauai. It was beautiful.

We hiked down to a nudey beach. Behind those rocks are two old naked women. We love Kauai!!!

ICE COLD COCONUTS!!!

Queens Bath a crazy natural pool.

This is a sign marking how many people have died at Queens Bath.

Our View in Kauai.

Decorating on a Budget

I have so many bright ideas for our new cute little apartment. However, I am on a budget which is a good things because if I wasn't I would probably spend all of our savings. I find myself dreaming about cute wall hangings and decorative knobs for freshly painted furniture. It's somewhat of a problem... But I love it:)
