Last night Logan and I went to a costume party at the haunted mansion! We ate lots of spooky food and played some games. We dressed up as indians and Logan did all of his own face paint. Doesn't he look cute? We played a game called the carrot game. It is super fast, fun, and messy. The point of the game is to get ride of your carrot by peeling or eating it. However you can't do either of those things if your candle isn't let. So basically the whole time you are trying to blow out the other persons candle and because you are eating a carrot at the same time you are spitting carrot everywhere. It is a super fun game and I won my match with Logan. I am a competitor and I come to win! We also told scary stories in the dark by candle light. Last night was super fun, but I am excited for a quiet night with Logan. We are going to get some food see a movie and try and keep warm, because it's like 40 degrees here now! Have a spooky and safe weekend!

How magnificent are these jeans? Sometimes I believe that I was born in the wrong decade. The 60's and 70's are more my style. If you need an example watch the movie "Roll Bounce" and you will completely understand. I am such a sucker for high waisted flared jeans. I have been on the search forever now trying to find the right pair. And lookie here I found some!  Of course they are mucho expensive, but that doesn't mean I can't dream about them.
Halloween is coming up and Logan and I went to WalMart to get the supplies for our costumes. What will we be you ask? You will have to wait and see. But we are gonna look fly I promise. We have a costume party to attend on Friday and I can't wait. I have been eating massive amounts of candy corn and feel like I have been on a constant sugar high!
Also, today is my wonderful Sister-in-Laws birthday. Happy Birthday Rachel. Logan and I love you lots and are so lucky to have you as a part of our family. Miss you!!!

Yesterday was my Milla's second birthday. I can't believer that she is already 2 years old! My sister sent me some pictures of her birthday weekend.
I remember when she was born two years ago. I was lucky enough to be living in San Luis when my sister was nearing the end of her pregnancy. When Tani was getting ready to have Milla I told Tani that I was going to be there when she was born and I was going to help in any way that I could. I then decided that I was going to be Tani's "quarterback". I realize that this sounds funny, but my relationship with my sister is something that few will ever really understand. So when it came time I borrowed scrubs from a friend and marched into that hospital like I owned the place. Everyone was staring at me because I was wearing scrubs and was not a doctor, but I didn't care because I needed to be Tani's "quarterback" whatever that means. Anyways on October 24, 2009 this little angel was born and she is one of my favorite people in the world. Happy Birthday Miss Milla! Your Aunty Tay Tay loves you!

One thing that always makes me smile is when i see Logan in his GINORMOUS uggs, and when he does the dishes. On Saturday afternoon I thought he looked so cute in the kitchen I decided to take a few pics of him. A new week has started and we are on the run. Tomorrow night there is a Halloween Carnival on Center street and I have been looking forward to it for a couple of weeks now. I get so crazy around the Holidays. I am constantly buying candy corn, burning scented candles, and singing silly jingles. Carnival here we come!!!

Every Wintery season I want a new coat. This year I am leaning towards this style. Comfortable and so versatile that you can wear it everyday. But a coat means cold and that makes me a little nervous. haha
I am glad that the week is coming to an end. I had to do fill out my grants this week and since I was playing catch up I did 9 total. I can't even think about statistics without wanting to throw up. I am excited for the weekend though. Tonight Logan and I are going to a Chemistry magic show on campus, which sounds nerdy, but will be fun. On Saturday I have a soccer game that I am excited for. We are undefeated so I get to brag a little and then Log and I are going to the dollar theater to see a movie. They are playing Cowboys and Aliens, Captain America, and Harry Potter. Which one should we see? We are going to end the weekend by having a big Sunday dinner which is always lots of fun.
Oh and last night my uncle came into town and took Log, Brad, and I to dinner. We went to Sakura which is a Tepanyaki place in Orem and we inhaled our food. It was so nice of him to take us out. Thanks Big Guy!!!
What are you plans for the weekend?

This kid is kind of a superstar. Last night we were laying in bed in the dark falling asleep. I had my head on Logan's chest and he was rubbing my head trying to get my headache to cease so that I could fall asleep. It was in that moment that I realized just how wonderful it is to have someone like Logan in my life. We have been married for a little over a year and our marriage isn't perfect by any means, but Logan is always striving for improvement. That is what marriage is I think. Just trying to improve, not for yourself but for your partner. It is that selflessness that I see in Logan everyday that gives me the feeling of security and stability that I need to continue on with life. Marriage is so interesting, sometimes it feels like nothing more then a couple of life long friends hanging out and sharing a good time. However, other times it feels like your partner is your foundation and without their love and guidance you would crumble at the slightest of trials.
Logan and I have only been at this "marriage thing" for a year, and we have had our fair share of disagreements. Like the time that Logan said that PMS was imaginary. Hahah That is a good discussion and we joke about it a lot now. But we have had way more bonding experiences laying on the carpet, watching documentaries, going to the gym, baking bread, or laying in bed. These are the things the connect us a unit. The point is that we are a unit. We are not longer 2 people. We are one person with one purpose. To bring happiness to our marriage. Marriage is interesting and I am sure that the Ah-Ha moments will continue to come over the years. I'm just excited that I will get to to experience them with this guy.

You know it's October when our gnomes have a pumpkin friend to hang out with. At least that's what I said to Logan this morning. For some reason it never really feels like October till I have my pumpkin hangin out next to my front door. Our gnomes however are here year round because i think they are so cutie. My fav is the little one sitting on top of a turtle smokin a pipe...what a life.
Logan and I have been so busy lately. Logan is studying constantly and being a committed husband and I am working 40 hour weeks and doing presentations around the community. I have to apologize to the probably 5 of you that read my blog for not posting lately. I have been lazy and need to post more about our new apartment and Provo and I promise I will get there as soon as I have another minute. But until then enjoy October!
P.S. Logan and I are planning the November activity for our church. We have planned a Thanksgiving feast where everyone has to dress up like either a pilgrim or an indian! It's going to be so much fun and I am already planning our costumes.

October has begun and brought a lot of things with it. Here in Provo it has been 85-89 degrees on average. This week however it has been rain, rain, raining. It is currently 39 degrees outside and as chilly as can be. I am surprisingly happy that it is getting cooler outside. I don't know what it is, but the moment October starts I get into the Holiday spirit. If it were up to me I would  be playing Christmas music every night at home, but Logan won't let me. So I have to settle for listening to it at work instead:) This time of year I am constantly thinking about how grateful I am for the things in my life.

I am Grateful for:
A job that allows me to make a difference in the world
Scented candles
Sunflowers
The look on Logan's face when I come home from a long day of work
Jazzy Christmas music
Diet  Coke
Postum
Coats with hoods
Books that are so good I dream about them
Cocomotion
Logan's face while he sleeps
Peanut M&Ms
Mid-day phone calls with Kimala
 Red pens
Videos of Milla that Tani sends me
Logan's bike
and...
A husband that loves and takes care of me
What are you grateful for?
Love, Tay
