This last weekend we went to Zion's National Park for a camping trip. On Friday we drove down to St. George and met up with our friend Devon who drove up from Vegas. Unfortunately, we didn't have a place to sleep before we drove into the National Park the next day so we camped by a creek next to a park in a neighborhood (kind of creepy). On Saturday morning we drove into Zion's and were blown away by how beautiful it was. We grabbed a camp site and then set off for some hikes. While we were there we hiked Emerald Pools, Angels Landing, and Watchman's Trail. We had a great time hiking, sitting around the camp fire, sneaking into the hotel pool for a "shower", and fighting off the hundreds of caterpillars that took over our camp site. It was really nice to be out in nature for a weekend and get some time away from school, work, and life. We will be back again soon Zion's!!!!

Last night I ordered this little beauty from a cutie little Etsy Shop. She does beautiful water color paintings and has a huge collections of LDS temples. I ordered the LA Temple because this is where Logan and I were sealed for time and all eternity. The temple holds such a special place in our hearts and i want to have a constant reminder of the sacred commitments we made to each other on August 7, 2010. I can't wait to get it in the mail and pick out the perfect frame so I can hang it in our home. Go check out her collection!

Photo Booth Photo shoot: Today Logan finished his last final for the Winter Semester. He took some of the hardest classes in his major like Chemistry, Biology, and Physics. And he got another 4.0. Logan is one of the hardest working people I have ever met. He is dedicated to studying and doing his very best. Congrats Log! I'm excited to get you all to myself for the next week until Spring semester starts:)

I borrowed this picture of Mckay from Sean and Rach. Doesn't he look charming in his little suspenders?
This weekend was eventful and slow. I was so exhausted from the last work week that Logan and I spent a lot of time on our pull out mattress on the living room floor watching movie after movie. Even though Logan has finals he still finds time to lay with me on the floor and relax. I only have a month and a half left until we jet over to Africa and the work is pilling up. I have to clean and organize our house so that moving will be a bit easier. Then we have to pack everything into storage and get ready for our trip. It is going to be crazy for the next little while.
This weekend Logan is going down to Zions National Park for a boys camping trip. I will be in Provo Car-less so if you wanna hang give me a call:) Hope you all have a happy Monday!

Untitled #4

I love turquoise. I always tell Logan that when I am old I am going to have waist length white hair, will wear every piece of turquoise jewelry that I can find (or anything Egyptian inspired), and will only wear maxi skirts and dresses. So for now I am trying to collect all the amazing turquoise that I can find:) Happy Monday!

Tonight after a dinner that Logan and I went to we were craving dessert. So we went to the Coco Bean which is a cute little store that sells amazing cupcakes. They are super tasty, Logan had already eaten half of his by the time I got to the lap top. Thanks for the treat Log! Your the best:)
