Scout's 1st Birthday party!!

Scout's birthday was so much fun. My mom came into town along with other family and our friends. We woke up and spent the morning at our favorite bakery and then we headed out to Cafe Rio and Scout destroyed the place! She ate so much food we were amazed. Then we ended up at the beach and Scout had a great time. Logan and Scout played by the water and dug a giant hole that she decided she wanted to live in. Then we had just enough time to come home and brush the sand off of ourselves before the party started. It was small and perfect. We had family and friends there and Scout ate an entire cake with strawberry whipped cream. I was worried that she would be hesitant and not know what to do with that, but apparently that was not an issue. Then Logan helped her open her presents and she got books, toys, and lots of things to put in her mouth. She had an amazing day and Logan and I were in awe of how big she has gotten. She is becoming a little girl and we are so excited to continue to watch her grow. We love you Scouty Babe! 

MONTH 12

Scout is 1 YEAR OLD!!!

She is walking/ running everywhere

Loves bath time

Loves to eat, fruit especially

Has found her voice and says our names

She is sooo social and makes friends wherever she goes

She still has a very small amount of hair, mainly a rat tail

She is beautiful and everything we could ever dream of!

MONTH 11

11 Months baby!

This little girl so big and so much fun

She is so close to walking and can taste the freedom of mobility

She loves the beach

 She loves her Rat King stuffed animal

She is eating like a crazy person

She has her stink eye totally down

She is keeping us on our toes!!!

MONTH 10

Scout is 10 months and I don't know when it happened

She is happy and laid back most of the time

Although she does have a stubborn side

She is babbling and saying Momma and Dadda

Crawling everywhere and so close to walking

Loves eating finger foods and puffs

Still hates Afternoon naps

Sleeps through the night

Likes to be involved in the action

And becoming such a little ham!

CHRISTMAS

Scout got to experience her very first Christmas this year. We did it up right with lots of yummy foods, Christmas jammies, plenty of fun outings with Nana and Papa, presents, and a Christmas Eve dance party. Scout had a great Christmas mainly because she is so social and being around Grandparents and cousins constantly is like heaven for her. We had her open her first present which took like 20 minutes and she lost interest half way, but that is ok. Christmas is my very favorite Holiday and it has improved immensely now that we have little Scouty to spend it with. Babies really do make everything in life so much better:)
