Hello December! You are finally here and I am so happy to see you. November was a great month, but December is my true favorite. After our little Thanksgiving break Log and I have re-entered our busy lives. He is taking on his last couple weeks of school along with finals week and I am trying to get everything squared away at work so that we can leave for California for the break. We have made plans to go and see the Nutcracker in Salt Lake and to go and see the temple lights. I don't know what it is about Christmas lights that make me go weak at the knees. I have an in-service meeting tonight at work and I made little Christmas handouts for everyone, they all think I am a nut, but it's cool:)
These last couple of months at work have been difficult, but I love my job. I get to be there for women when they feel like everything in the world has been taken from them. I get to hold their hand when they feel like the pain couldn't get any worse. I get to walk with them and observe as they experience every emotion possible. My job is challenging, but who are we if we are not helping someone. What is life if we can't serve others. We were each given special talents, and those talents weren't meant to benefit us, they were meant to aid us in benefiting others. I know that Holidays bring out the giving side of us, but I just hope that our giving can continue into the next year because people always need help and most of all love.
For this December I am grateful for my Logan. Marriage isn't always easy and you have to learn how to give and not just take. I have learned so many things after being married for a year and a half. Today Logan said to me, "I wish i could see the world through your eyes". We are so different in the way that we see and interpret the world, but we are always striving to understand one another. Understanding is a powerful tool in a relationship. To understand the way that someone else sees things can take a lifetime, but what matters is that we have the desire to do so. Logan has the desire to do whatever it takes to understand me and because of that desire I know that we can make this marriage thing work for eternity. Thank you Logan for staying strong when things are difficult and for striving to see the world through my eyes. You are the person I was put on this earth to meet. Hope you all have a lovely December and don't ever stop giving.

Love, Tay
