Saturday full of FASHION

Lately I have been wanting to get rid of some of my clothes and I would like to get some money out of it. So today after work I cleaned out my closet and come up with two grocery bags (reusable) of pants, shirts, dresses, skirts, and accesories. I went to Idaho Falls seeking out a Consignment Shop. If you don't know what this is it is a store that buys lighted used clothes and gives you a little bit of money. I went in and dropped off my bags thinking that when I came back I would have sold a good portion of clothes. Unfortunately when I came back i saw that they had only chosen about 6 items and they were all from American Eagle, Abercromie and Fitch, and Down East outfitters (don't hate me I went through a stage in high school). I still had two whole bags of clothes from Gap, Old Navy, Urban Outfitters, and Anthropologie! I was shocked they didn't choose any of these clothes.
So I have an Idea fellow blogging ladies. What about a Saturday full of FASHION. I want to set up a huge clothing sale. We can all come together with our clothes that we are hoping to sell and have a huge garage-like clothing sale. We could advertise it on blogs, in our wards, and to everyone we see. We can sit in lawn chairs, sip lemonade, and sell some clothes. Please let me know if you are interested because I would love to spend a sunny Saturday after noon cleaning out my closet!

Love, Tay

  1. Okay so this is a little off topic, but I was just going to call you about getting some of your clothes...There's a lady who I work with and her step-daughter has recently lost the majority of her clothes (I'll tell you the story later). Anyways this girl is 13 and is tiny like you so I thought maybe any clothes that you don't sell you could donate to her. I know they'd really appreciate it. I've given her some of my clothes, but lots of my clothes are old lady teacher clothes. Let me know.

  2. this is a great idea! i'm so sad i practically gave half of my clothes to DI... but also I have a little favor... so I thought you had moved already, but if you are still in Rexburg, would you be willing to model for me?! i'm taking an advanced black and white photography film class and you were so perfect to take photos of last time... just let me know if you are free sometime, I will make it super quick too :)

and sorry about never sending over the other photos, our internet is slower than molasses so everytime I got one loaded it was an hour later. I can put them on a cd if you would want them still.

  3. ok so I am a organizational freak and get rid of things too often...but I want some of your CLOTHES!!
when can I come over and rummage through them?? let me know!

  4. what?! Those fools didn't take Anthro clothes? They must be on drugs. Or have bad taste. Ha ha I am so in! When, where and what time?
